Open-concept living room and kitchen at 241 Maynard Terrace

241 Maynard Terrace #16, Kirkwood

Atlanta, GA 30316 · Just sold

This one has already found its buyer, but it still tells the Kirkwood story better than any listing I have had in a while: a modern townhome that catches light from every direction,a kitchen done right, and a side yard that is quiet in the way only an intown lot can be. Consider it the anchor of everything below. Want the same results on your side of the street? Tommy has more than 20 years and over 500 homes sold across Metro Atlanta.

Open-concept living and dining

Modern open plan with high ceilings, dark wood floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the upper level with natural light.

Kitchen, made to cook

White quartz counters, stainless steel appliances,a built-in range hood, and deep charcoal cabinetry in a galley that connects straight to the living space.

Primary suite with ensuite bath

A calm primary bedroom with a full ensuite bath,a dual-sink vanity, marble-look tile,and a freestanding soaking tub.

Rooms for every pace of life

Additional bright bedrooms and baths,a small balcony off the kitchen, and a private fenced patio in the side yard.

Attached parking

Garage bays with dark doors on the street facade, and a clean concrete drive out front.

Steps from the Kirkwood core

Bessie Branham Park, the downtown Kirkwood shops on Hosea L. Williams, and the Beltline connection all sit minutes away.

04 · The neighborhood

Kirkwood is where Atlanta slows down.

A former streetcar suburb annexed to Atlanta in 1922, Kirkwood is a national historic district of painted Craftsman bungalows, a tree-lined grid, and a downtown core that actually walks. It repeatedly shows up on lists of the city’s most walkable intown neighborhoods, and the locals like it that way.no hype, just good blocks and a neighborly pace.

Bessie Branham Park

Roughly 7 acres at the heart of the hood: tennis and basketball courts, baseball fields,a playground,a recreation center, and a walking loop with a metal Kirkwood sign as the net.

Coan Park and the Trolley Line Trail

The trail runs straight through Coan Park, where outdoor fitness equipment lines the path, and neighbors use it year-round.

A direct Beltline link

The Eastside Trolley Trail now ties Kirkwood's parks into the Beltline network, and the final piece, a pedestrian crossing of Moreland Avenue at Arkwright Place, is still under construction with completion on the horizon.

Market note

How Fast Are Homes Selling in Atlanta?

Homes across Metro Atlanta are moving quickly right now. Inventory is still tight in the walkable intown neighborhoods and the close-in suburbs, and well-priced homes are drawing multiple offers within their first week or two on market. For buyers, that means being ready to move when the right home comes up. For sellers, it means pricing and presentation still matter, because the homes that sell fastest are the ones priced to the current market from day one.

Rank ZIP Area Median Sale Price Days on Market
1 30319 Brookhaven $831,000 25
2 30024 Suwanee $625,000 28
3 30075 Roswell $740,000 32
4 30329 North Druid Hills $552,000 35
5 30328 Sandy Springs $600,000 36

Source: figures confirmed from Tommy Williams’ fastest-selling ZIP report at tomwillsellga.com/fastest-selling-zip-codes, July 2026 data. Last updated: September 2026.

For context: the Metro Atlanta median sale price is $405,000 and median days on market is 57, per the same report (July 2026 data).

An honest note on Kirkwood: 30316 is not in the top 10 fastest-selling ZIPs in Metro Atlanta, and I won’t pretend otherwise. What is true is that well-priced homes in Kirkwood and the rest of Intown Atlanta move quickly too, because the demand for walkable, close-in living stays strong.

Curious what your own home is worth in today’s market? I’ll put together a current estimate for you and talk through what it means, whether you are thinking of selling soon or just keeping an eye on the numbers. I’ll be in touch.
